The Rocky Mountain Youth Leadership Conference (RMYLC) is sponsored, in part, by the Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW), under their Patriotic Education Program. The Rocky Mountain Youth Leadership Foundation is an independent nonprofit that exists solely to provide resources for the operation and continuous improvement of the RMYLC. The RMYLC is a 5-day, in-residence, leadership education opportunity for rising high school seniors, conducted every year, in the last full week of June. The Foundation is an all-volunteer corporation whose entire resources are dedicated to the future of the RMYLC.

The Conference has been held in over six different locations including the United States Air Force Academy and in conjunction with another MOWW Chapter in Phoenix, Arizona. From modest beginnings with 17 students, the RMYLC has grown to accept 100 high school seniors each year. Since 1993, over 2,100 Colorado high school students have graduated from the RMYLC.
